I love it when our clients say, “Do whatever you want. We trust you.” Talk about a good time. Meredith and Jason are two of the most fun and crazy couples I have ever photographed. They were natural and soooo in love you can just feel it. Their beautiful wedding was held in Alys Beach with their family and closest friends. Their reception was at George’s Restaurant in Alys Beach. The staff there was so great to work with. Shawn and I had a great time photographing this wedding and playing with a bunch of different shooting styles. I hope you enjoy!

Holly and Daniel are getting married in May. We got to do their engagement session in Harbor Walk on one of the windiest days of the year. I loved their outfits and the colors they chose. Take a look and let us know what you think.

Shawn and I shot Andrea and Cory’s E-session in the, now famous, Purple Seaside Wall and on the side of the road in some cool woods. I do have a slight obsession with dead trees. They look so raw and awesome. Anyway, here are a few of our favs. Hope you like.

I love when I get to do “non-traditional” family portraits. Who says khaki and white on the beach is the standard? For those of you that prefer something different than the standard, here’s one you’ll like. Our good friends, The Cains, asked us to shoot their family at Baytowne Warf. This family is oozing with talent. From singers to painters, they are unique and creative and they let us do whatever we wanted. Here are a few of our favorites. Hope you enjoy!

Talk about a party! I’ve never seen people party so hard. I got caught in a dance sandwich. For some reason people like doing that to photographers. Katherine and Matt had a stunning wedding in Carillon Beach made possible by Alene’s fabulous team at I Do I Do Wedding Planning. The colors were perfect, the food, by Dine by Design, was so original and delicious, the flowers were gorgeous and the guest were having a blast. Here are a few to prove it.

Talk about some good ‘ole Southern family. Virginia and Chris and their family were so much fun to work with. They got married at the chapel in Seaside, FL. The AMAZING Christina and her team at Nouveau Flowers did all of the design and floral arrangements. They gave her free reign (which, by the way, is the best thing you can say to an artist) and she came through yet again. Virginia reminds me of a classic pin up girl and Chris is a true southern gentleman. These two were awesome. Here’s some of our favorites.

Hey guys, I haven’t posted anything on my blog since….forever. Sorry about that. I’m trying to sike myself up for blogging again. If any of you know me, don’t roll your eyes. I’m not going to try and catch you up on every wedding and photo shoot that I’ve done this year. I think I’ll just show you some of my favorites. Here we go…
Amanda and Patrick - The Tides Resort, Ixtapa, Mexico {May 1, 2009} I know waaaaaay overdue.
I met Amanda and Patrick in ‘08 when they were planning their wedding in Rosemary Beach, FL. About 5 months before the wedding, they decided to have their wedding in MEXICO!!!!! and asked us to go with them! It was in the midst of the swine flu season and even though most people would have skipped out on going there, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. They are one of the most beautiful couples I’ve ever met. Every time they looked at each other you could just feel how much they were in love. Unfortunately, good my good ole hubby couldn’t go with me because he’s Canadian and was waiting on his Green card at the time. So here I am, in this absolutely stunning and romantic location, sipping on Margaritas and Pacificos with my assistant Kevin (great guy :))
We were there for their rehearsal and wedding and fell in love with this group of family and close friends. I’ve made a promise I’ll come back one day with Shawn. For now he can just appreciate the photo, and so can you. Here’s an album layout that I put together featuring their wedding day. Enjoy!
